SPANISH RAILWAY MATERIAL IN ARGENTINE

There have always been important bonds between Spain and Argentine, but we have to add the electrification of many lines and the modernization of the Spanish trains. All of this means that it isn't strange to find in our country different Spanish vehicles.

In the following report we show different diesel trains TER into the railway enterprise in Buenos Aires province (FERROBAIRES), Alcos DL-500 S (ex Renfe 321) into the railway Buenos Aires to the Pacific Ocean (BAP) and into the Patagonian railway services (SEFEPA), in Rio Negro province, which bought waggons and vans too and, to finish, Alcos RSD-39 (ex Renfe 313) into Buenos Aires Trains (TBA).

The logo which we can see in the front of the vehicle (UEPFP) means Executed Unit belonging to the Provincial Railway Programme, and it is the official name of the FC in Buenos Aires province, although it is generally and advertisingly called FERROBAIRES.
