Last 16th September, their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain inaugurated in the city of Valencia the new stretch of the underground line 3, between the station of Alameda-Avenida del Cid and Alameda-Jesús.

The new stretchs inaugurated have allowed improve subtancially the offered service by Underground Valencia, with more trins and with an important reduction of the times of journey, there are in some stretchs in peak hourstrains each three or four minutes.
The next year, these new stretchs which have entered in service will be complemented with the extension of the new subterranean stretch between the station of Avenida del Cid and Mislata.
JOINING OF LINES
Also, the lines 1 and 2 have been jointed and operate like a same line that is forked in the station of Empalme (old Ademús station), towards Bétera and Llíria (before now in the line 2).
In order to improve the communication service with the city of Valencia, semidirect trains have been created between Valencia and several locations of their influence area, doing the same journeys that the regular services but they take ten minutes less in their time of journey.
